Few musicians have a career as long and varied as Kim Fowley’s. Beginning with his #1 hit Alley Oop in 1960, Fowley’s influence and creativity has been felt around the world.
Perhaps best known for co-founding and producing the proto all-girl punk band The Runaways, he is still plying his trade to this day.
On this installment of the World of Noise show, Fowley will be playing the Name Game as he comments on musicians from the 60s on from his personal experience with them.
Don’t miss this great show on Flashback Alternatives, Thursday, 6/11/09 at 6 and 9pm pacific time, 9 and 12pm eastern time.
