My interview with synth pioneer Larry Fast, postponed earlier this month due to a station software glitch, will air this Thursday, 4/30/09 at 6pm and 9pm on Flashback Alternatives, an Internet radio station.

Larry is well known for his synthesizer project, Synergy, and his 10-year stint with Peter Gabriel.

Doug holds a BFA in Music Composition from the California Institute of The Arts where he studied with some of the most influential composers and performers of the time. Join him as he honors some of them including Harold Budd, Steve Reich, Morton Subotnick, Leonid Hambro, I Nyoman Wenten, T. Viswanathan, Earle Brown, Ingram Marshall with help from Brian Eno, Michael Hoenig, Lilly Tomlin, P.D.Q. Bach, Peter Schickele and Åke Hodell.

Doug Lynner’s World of Noise airs on http://www.flashbackalternatives.com, an internet radio station. The show repeats 3/12/09 at 9pm PDT and 3/15/09 at 6am PDT.
